Step 8:
Give high fives!
Project Walkthrough
Everyone asks, "so how does this process work?"
That’s the question we hear most often, usually followed by. “I don’t know anything about the Web!” That’s OK! We’re here to do the technical work; using your opinions and knowledge of your profession to guide us. We work with you to discover your expectations for the site and your businesses specialties. In order to gather that information the first step in our Web building journey is to meet with you.
Lets walk through the process together:
Inthe first planning session we will most likely discuss the following topics:
This is an important question because we want to learn from your competitor’s mistakes or successes; their web presence will give us a good idea of what we should shoot for. Then we can step it up a notch!
We will present you with a comprehensive and easy to understand proposal, which outlines the specific parts of your project. We are dedicated to being clear and up front regarding all costs and the specifics of the project. After all, we don't want to waste your time or ours.
After you have had a chance to go over the proposal and all of your questions are answered, we will ask you to make a decision as to whether or not MayeCreate is the right fit for your company or organization. Either way, you will receive that energetic high-five.
Now, we will begin with the design of your project. We will ask that you be as critical and honest with us about all of your likes and dislikes. this way, we can ensure that you receive the end product that your company or organization really deserves. We will create the “look” or template for your site. At this time we will also make sure that we are organizing our information is the best possible way.
Upon approval of the template and organization we will begin placing the information in the individual pages. You must have your text for the pages and any graphics or pictures for the site ready at this time in final digital form.
At this point, we will look over everything and make any final changes. Again, we want you to be as critical and open as possible. It is important to us that you get the website or print design that you want.
If everything looks good, we will post your site to the World Wide Web and YOU'VE GOT A WEBSITE! If we are working on a print project, we will send your design off to print.
Our goal is to help you and your business grow. We appreciate all of your feedback, both good and bad (although we know it will be shining). We will look forward to working with you again and you'll get another one of those high fives!
