Our part timers Roxie and Green Plant are having a day of rest and celebration in the office.  What’s the event you ask?  The sun! We haven’t had the privilege of a full day of sunshine in weeks so they’re just soakin’ it up!

Before you ask, no, we did not tie the rocket to that poor turtle.  Someone else did.  We purchased the photo from the crazy person with a pet turtle.  Isn’t he cute though?

1. Select the page or post to which you wish to add a gallery
2. Select Visual in the editor vs. HTML
3. Roll over and select the NextGENgallery icon (usually on the far right)
4. Choose The Album you wish to display.
5. To add multiple albums after one is selected hit enter and repeated steps 6 & 7
6. When finished go back to screen options.
7. Check publish again.
8. Collapse screen options and select update page.
9. Go to your browser, click refresh and view your creation!

1. Select album from the gallery portion in the navigation on the left.
2. Title your album and click add album.
3. Select the album you wish to add galleries to from the select album drop down
4. You can now drag and drop the galleries you would like to be part of the album
5. Click Update

1. Select add gallery/images from the gallery section of the left-hand navigation.
2. Choose upload images
3. Browse your computer for the images you wish to upload.
   1. To upload multiple images, hold control while you select the images you wish to upload.
4. Select the gallery you would like to upload the images to.
5. Click upload images.
6. To manage the gallery select manage gallery.
7. You can edit or delete images here.

You must add your new galleries to the Browse Eyewear gallery that has already been created for the images to show up with a thumbnail to click on and view more images.

1. Click on add gallery from the gallery section at the bottom of your navigation on the left.
2. Title your gallery and click add gallery.
3. To make changes to the name or description of the gallery click edit gallery.

Photo galleries are for when you want to display a group of thumbnail images on a page.  Photo albums are one step up.  Use albums for using one image to represent a group of images, when the user clicks on that representative image they will be taken to gallery page with the group of thumbnails for the photos in that gallery.  You can have more than one gallery in an album, each gallery will be represented by a thumbnail.

1. Select the post you would like to like add an image to
2. Click on the Add an Image button next to Upload/Insert
3. Click the select files button
4. Choose the desired file(s), to select more than one at a time hold down your control/open apple key and click on additional files
5. Click Open
6. Type the name of the PDF into the title field.
7. Click the file URL button
8. Click Insert into post
9. To make the PDF open in a new window highlight the link.
10. Click the link icon on the toolbar.
11. Choose open in new window from the target drop-down.
12. Upon completion select the blue update button on the right.
13. If you add multiple photos to a post the first photo will be the only one that will display in the post.  If you click to view that post on its own page it will show all photos that have been uploaded.

14.  Upload all images as thumbnails.  Formatting has been put in place to avoid distorting the images.

1. Select pages for the left hand navigation.
2. Find the page you would like to edit.
3. Click edit
4. Make necessary changes in the text field.
5. To add a picture
   1. Select the image icon under your name next to upload/Insert
   2. Click select files
   3. Find the image from your computer that you would like to insert.
   4. Click Open
   5. Select the size you want the image to be and the positioning of the image you desire.
   6. Click insert into post.
   7. When you return to the editing page click update page if you are finished editing.
